This Application allows its users to get weather information for the world airspace system. Your privacy is important to us. This is the Application policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our app. We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used. We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. We will not use or share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except as described in this Privacy Policy or when required to by law. As the Application uses Apple Places API and Maps API, by using this Application, you are also bound by Apple Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and any other applicable Apple’s terms and policies. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Application.
Information Collected and Used by Us
For a better experience, while using our Application, we may require you to provide with the following personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information: Location. At map pages the Application requires your location (a non-personalized pair of geographical coordinates). The coordinates are required to be able to set the center of map at your location. Besides, to get and provide weather data of your nearest airports we use the coordinates to be able to identify the nearest airports to you. To get weather data around your location or data of the nearest airport the Application can send your coordinates or coordinates of your nearest airports to OpenWeatherMap API and National Weather Service. Except of the mentioned cases the coordinates are not sent out of the Application. Your coordinates will be destroyed after you close the Application. Bellow you can find links to the privacy policies of the services. If your device Android version is 6 and above you can decline providing the location permission, with the understanding that the above mentioned features will not work. If your device Android version is below 6 and you do not agree to provide your location you should not use the Application.
Information Collected and Used by Third Party Services
The Application does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. They may collect at background or require you to provide with certain personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Android Advertising ID, Advertising Identifier for iOS , cookies and similar technologies, your device location, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the Application, the time and date of your use of the Application, and other statistics. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review privacy policies of these services. We have no control over how third party services collect, use and keep information. So, we assume no responsibility for any third party services. The list of the third party services used by the Application and the links to the privacy policy of the services:
Apple Maps API – used for showing map, for converting addresses (like a street address or city name) into geographic coordinates (like latitude and longitude)
Google Firebase – used for collecting non-personally identifiable analytical data, app crash and error logs, and for sending push notifications
All the above mentioned services are provided by Google and Apple, and you can find the privacy policies of the services at Google and Apple Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the policies you should not use the Application. To get weather data we use the following services. You can find privacy policies of the services by clicking on their names. OpenWeatherMap API National Weather Service If you do not agree with the policy you should not use the Application.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They can be sent to your device and are stored on your device’s internal memory. We do not use cookies. However, the third party services can use cookies to collect information and improve their services. We value your trust in providing us and our third party services providers your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
